We have a NEW LITTER. Born 5/3/13
Hello, my name is Darlene and I'd like to welcome you to my website and introduce you to some of the beautiful gentle giants who own my heart. I first fell in love with this wonderful breed many years ago when I aquired my first Dane, Bella Donna. She was a stunning merle with exceptional size for a female and a heart of gold. Thanks to her, my "addiction" for the breed started and I couldn't just have one.....ha ha Which holds true to the saying that says "Danes are like potato chips and you can never have just one. " Bella Donna was the foundation for my breeding program and since my earliest days with the breed I sought to ad Danes to my breeding program that were true examples of what a Great Dane should be...both in appearance, structure, health and temperment. Sadly, Bella Donna is no longer with us but she contributed so much to the Danes I have now and I'm happy to say I still see the same quality, beauty & exceptional temperments in all of the puppies I welcome into the world.
The Great Dane
With a big heart to match it's majestic size, the Great Dane is a loyal, intelligent and trustworthy companion whose size alone is enough to scare off intruders. Nicknamed "the Apollo of Dogs" because of it's incredible good looks and noble stature.
The Great Dane is the true embodiment of the term "Gentle Giant". Friendly and dependable, the Great Dane makes an exceptional family dog. These gentle giants love human attention and are well-suited to country or city living, provided that you allow them plenty of free exercise (meaning no forced exercise which can damage their skeketal system during the rapid growth rate) & lots of socialization, love and time spent with the family. Contrary to what many people think, the Great Dane makes an ideal house dog and thrives best when allowed to live inside with their family.

A bit about my dogs & puppies....
My dogs are my family and they are not kept in kennels. They have free run of my property, and my home, and even have their own pond to swim in whenever they so choose. My puppies are whelped inside my home where I can provide plenty of interaction and socialization at a very early age. Obviously once they are big enough they have a puppy pen outside so they have plenty of room to run and for all their puppy antics (Obviously with dane babies they need lots of play space ).
All of my puppies are healthy, happy and will be up to date on any shots and vaccinations that are required. I will provide the new family with the puppies Registration papers, health records and will be available by phone or email to help with any questions you may have about the care of your new puppy.
Great Danes come in a variety of colors. I currently produce Mantles, Harlequins, Blacks, Merles, Mantled Merles, Piebalds, Blue Mantles, Blue Piebalds and Fawns.
I will try to post pictures and information on "The Litter Box" page and will do my best to keep the information updated regularly. I am accepting deposits now, so if you are interested in any baby please feel free to contact me by phone at 1(325) 200-1992 or by email at: darlenesdanes@gmail.com
If by some chance I miss your call, please leave me a message and I'll get back in touch with you as soon as possible.
Thanks for your interest in my Danes and I hope you enjoy all the pictures!
